- Yeah sometimes. But i leraned all about it in Mr.C's Engineering class.

- Energy that has anything to do with heat is called THERMAL ENERGY.Productive use of thermal energy involves a range of activities, such as cooking, drying, heating, smoking, baking, cooling and manufacturing.

- Energy that has anything to do with heat is called THERMAL ENERGY.Productive use of thermal energy involves a range of activities, such as cooking, drying, heating, smoking, baking, cooling and manufacturing.
- Some ways that thermal energy can be converted into electricity are with thermal power plants and solar panels.
- With power plants things like fossil fuels and uranium are used to heat water and create steam. This steam passes through turbines causing them to spin causing it to become mechanical energy.
- This Heat energy turns into mechanical energy. When the turbine spins the shaft it is connected to, it produces and transforms into electrical energy thus producing electricity that can be used to power homes.
- Wow! So how do you know all this?
