Peak decides it's a good idea to try and climb a skyscraper, but it doesn't go very well for him, as he is caught at the top and sent away withe the police.
Peak had to go to court with a lot of his family, the twins, his mom, step dad, and real dad, and he found out that he was going to be moving to Asia with his father, who as of yet, hadn't been an important figure in his life.
Peak finds out he will be climbing Mount Everest, which is both exciting and terrifying. He has to wear lots of gear and go with a lot of people including his father. He has a very tough task ahead of him. If he successfully reaches the summit, he will be the youngest person ever to do so.
Peak, his father, Sun-Jo, and Zopa (among other climbers) continue up the mountain, and Peak finds out that Sun-Jo will also be attempting to summit the mountain, he is confused because he thought he would be the only one, and he doesn't want anyone holding him back
Peak and Sun-Jo reach very close to the summit together. Peak realizes Sun-Jo needs the fame and fortune of being the youngest to reach the summit than himself, so he stops just shy of the summit as Sun-Jo goes on and reaches the summit.
Peak gets back home and everyone is so happy to see him, especially the twins. They cannot say enough about how much they missed him. He is happy to be back in New York and away from the stress of the mountain
