  • The election of 1800, there has been a tie between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr for the position of President. It was now up to the House of Representatives to break the tie.
  • The result of the 35th vote is... another tie
  • Alexander Hamilton urges for the house to vote for Jefferson.
  • Aaron Burr is a dangerous man! He has no beliefs and only fights for himself!
  • He appeals to the Federalists, who make up the majority of the House at the time.
  • I have never agreed with Jefferson once but between the two of them, Jefferson is the lesser evil.
  • We are about to commence the 36th vote to decide who will be the 3rd President 
  • On December 3rd, 1800, the results of the 36th vote were in, representatives from Delaware, South Carolina, Maryland, and Vermont turned in blank ballots. In the end, Thomas Jefferson won and became the 3rd President of the United States of America. 
  • The results are in, the winner of the Election of 1800 is, Thomas Jefferson.
