Fedor Von Bock was sentenced to federal prison for war crimes against humanity in 1948 and was sent back to germany to serve his 13 year sentence, his son found work in the military and helped his mother pay for utilities.
Von Bock returned to his family in america in 1956 after his charges were ceased by order of the Oberkommando der wehrmacht as he was a field marshall and not a uniformed SS officer
Von died in 1960 and had a military funeral in bittburg, germany, leaving his family with an inheritance to help them financially
