Before agriculture, the early hominids were hunters and gatherers. They hunted big game like mammoths, sabers etc. They also gathered items like barriers.
Then one day, that all changed and agriculture was born.
When the early hominids collected plants and they would throw away the seeds.
As the early hominids kept throwing out seeds, the plants started to grow.
Therefore, people started growing the seeds in the ground and planting them.
After they developed agriculture, people started to stay in one place now that they had stable food source and developed cities.
