  • The representative assembly of the three estates.
  • Revolution Begins
  • An oath made by the National Assembly declaring "not to separate and to reassemble wherever circumstances require until the constitution of the kingdom is established."
  • Took place in Paris, France at the dangerous, gloomy, and terrifying location of the political prison, Bastille. The third estate was trying to have an uprising against the injustice of the first and second estates (the clergy and the nobel) and they had mostly everything they needed except one thing.. gunpowder and Bastille was the Perfect place to get it. 
  • The beginning of the revolution, 1789, was a movement towards far-reaching social and political change for/in France.
