Storyboard Text

  • Oh look! My journey is already beginning! I am starting to EVAPORATE!
  • Hi! I am a water droplet, and I will be showing you a part of my journey starting in a lake.
  • WEEEE! This is fun! The next step in the WATER CYCLE is to CONDENSE into a cloud!
  • Now I am PRECIPITATING, where I will next INFILTRATE into the ground.
  • Because there is a large factory near me, chemicals from it, might flow into rivers or lakes due to RUNOFF. Some of the chemicals might INFILTRATE into the groundtoo. This kind of pollution is called POINT SOURCE POLLUTION.
  • Now I am soaking through the ground, or INFILTRATING! This layer of ground that I am in right know is called the PERMEABLE layer, because I can easily soak through it. Soon I will hit the IMPERMEABLE layer, witch is the layer of Earth that is harder to soak through. Once I reach the BEDROCK level,  I will become GROUNDWATER, and then I will get carried up by a well to a house or building.  But that means all of this gross pollution is going to go into the well too.
  • WEEE! Now I am traveling up the well, and soon I will go into a house or building.
  • Hello again! I'm here in this cup of green water now! This guy really doesn't want to drink me. His filtration system in his well must really be broken because even chemical filled water does not turn out green. But it is still bad that there is so much pollution everywhere! Bye! And don't pollute!
