  • The Narrator watches the old man sleep thinking about the eye for seven straight nights at 12:00 midnight.
  • I cant stand that vultures eye
  • The narrator is watching him like this for 7 nights at 12:00 midnight stealthy. But on the eighth night he messed up and made a noise that awoken the old man and  as the narrator hid he hearkened to the old mans heart getting louder. 
  • Uh Oh he heard me and I can acutely hearken to his heart beating faster and fast and louder and louder 
  • Who is there?
  • On the eight night the narrator hears the heart continuously  and cant stand the beating so he decides to get up and kill the object he has been wanting to kill for a long time, the vulture eye. After he kills him he dismembers the body into the flooring and cleans up so cunningly.
  • AHH!!
  • Time to get rid of your vulture eye!!
  • The cops come to the old mans house because the neighbors heard a loud noise.
  • I have nothing to worry about
  • Have a look around the old man is not here right now
  • The neighbors heard a loud noise come from the house. They said it sounded like the old man that lives here.
  • The narrator confesses to the murder because he can hear the beating of the old mans heart even though he was dead because of his guilt. He cannot proceed with the hideous heart of the old man so he gives up and surrenders to the action.
  • Alright Alright the old man is under the floorboards. I killed him. I killed him.
  • I'm hearing the hideous heart of the old man and its getting louder and louder and its getting me sick.
