The plague is bought from Asia to Europe via boats when the Europeans went to Asia. It first affected areas near the black sea before spreading across Europe by rats and fleeing people.
"I hope the plague can't get to Europe"
The fleas lived among people and were transported by rats. When the rat died from the fleas bit it jumped onto a human, killing them.
The plague invaded Europe in 1347.
"He has black lumps! Just like plague victims"
The plague spread quickly across Europe with the movement of rats and people fleeing from the plague. Flees would bit humans, infecting them so they are sure to die. Infected families were locked away with red crosses marking their doors.
Symptoms included abdominal or muscle pains, coughing possibly with blood, fever, chills, fatigue and malaise, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting.
The Bubonic plague killed 2/3rds of the United Kingdoms population and infected Europe until 1665. 100 million people were killed. The plague was spread easily by the movement of rats, and humans. It was also easily spread by people disposing the bodies if the touched the victims blood.
