He looked at me. "No,you wouldn't. I'm a Soc. Unlike me, you get a little money and the whole world hates you. This is an again and again moment because the Soc's are always teasing the Greasers about how poor they are and they way they dress. It also mentions many times in the book the the Socs are rich and the Greasers are poor. Therefore, this is an again and again sighnpost.
" I don't want to die now. It ain't long enough. Sixteen years ain't long enough. I wouldn't mind it so much if there wasn't so much stuff I ain't done yet and so many things I ain't seen. It's not fair." This is an aha moment because this is when Johnny realizes that he doesn't want to die, yet he is so violent all the time.
" Dally always liked to take on two Socs at a time." This is an again and again moment because they mention many times that Darry is one of the most violent one out of their "gang".
