Storyboard Text

  • I am Peter Quince, and I will now tell you your roles for our wedding play, Pyramus and Thisbe.
  • I'm Snout the tinker.
  • I'm Starveling the tailor.
  • I'm Flute the bellows mender.
  • I'm Bottom the weaver.
  • I'm Snug the joiner.
  • Bottom, you are to play Pyramus.
  • Pyramus is a lover that dies for love.
  • Well then, I'll move the audience to tears. I would be a better tyrant, though.
  • Well, is he a lover or a tyrant?
  • Flute, you will play the role of Thisbe.
  • Your peach fuzz is not a problem. You'll play the role in a mask.
  • But I can't play that role! My beard will grow in soon!
  • Starveling here will be Thisbe's mother. I'll be her father.
  • Snout will be Pyramus' father, and Snug will be the lion.
  • Okay, everyone. We will meet in the woods tomorrow night to memorize our lines and rehearse.
