  •                      The Boston Massacre
  • These solders choose a house to stay in and make them do things for them for the quartering act. British were afraid the N.A. settlers in FL might attack. The British government left thousands of solders to protect the colonies to protect the colonists after the French and Indian War.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • The tax collector is getting money from the colonist. In 1765 Parliament passed a new tax law called the stamp act. The colonists angry protests surprised the king and the rest of the British government. In March 1766 Parliament repealed the law.
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • The Boston Massacre was caused when one solider thought he heard fire and shot and so did the others which left 5 people dead and 6 more wounded. In 1770 the colonists were still angry that British soldiers were living in their town. On March 5 1770 the bad feeling in Boston erupted into violence. 
  • Colonist were angry about how over priced tea was so they threw it over board the ship and called it the Boston tea party. After the Boston massacre the British government repealed all of the unpopular taxes. The tea act lowerd the cost of tea but it still made the colonists mad.
  • In this image colonist covered a tax collector in feathers and forced him to drink tea. After the Boston tea party parliament decided to punish the colonists by passing several new laws,and workers lost their jobs. One law the Boston port act closed Boston harbor.
