- Prospero is the Duke of Milan. He has a daughter named Miranda. Antonio is Prospero's brother. Alonso is the King of Naples.

- Prospero always loved books. He put books and studies over everything without realizing a plan his brother, Antonio has planned.
- Alonso temporarily makes Antonio the Duke of Milan. Shows that Prospero chose books and studies over being the Duke.
- Antonio betrays Prospero. He knew there was going to be a storm and he became greedy. He loved being the Duke and boat starts to crash and diminish, with Prospero being washed away.
- 12 YEARS LATER...
- How came we ashore?
- Miranda, Prospero, and others are stranded on an island 12 years later. Miranda is grown up and she is curious of how they ended up there. Prospero credits God and Gonzalo.
- By Providence divine. Some food we had, and some fresh water. Master of this design, did give us, with rich garments, linens, stuff, and necessaries.
- Miranda 12 years later
- Prospero goes on to tell her how he taught her everything she knew. Prospero tells Miranda that she is the reason he keeps going and wants revenge. TO this day, Antonio is the permanent Duke of Milan and stole it from Prospero.
