Mexican soldiers invaded a disputed territory and started fighting General Zachary Taylor's soldiers. However a fire blinded both sides causing many soldiers them to die.
In the end, under the command of Zachary Taylor the Americans were able to defeat the Mexicans and Taylor was able to gain control of the Rio Grande.
