- I received an email from Lia's teacher about her behavior this week. She said that our daughter has been throwing tantrums, aggressive, and distant.
- I received your emails, Miss Castro. What do you think is the best for my child's situation?
- I know she's having a hard time, and so are we. As a teacher, I advise you to ask for medical or professional help.
- ...How was it? What were your findings about the situation of my daughter? And what can we do about it?
- Based on my findings, she is diagnosed with EBD and what you can do about it will somehow be difficult, but we will collaborate to make sure she will be fine and get the medical support that she deserve. You as her parents, I as the doctor, and her teacher Miss Castro have to team up.
- What are you doing here, Mom?
- Nothing, Mom. I just feel bad for my behavior lately. Sometimes, it's uncontrollable.
- Why are you sad, Lia? Did something happen to you?
- I know, sweetheart. That is why we asked for help. We are all here to protect you so you will get better.
- Thanks, Miss Castro. I definitely need one!
- Wow! Our activity was a bit tiring. You can have a your break.
- Yeah, it's actually been easier since we got here and ask for help. I'm doing good at school and making friends.
- Thank you, Doctor!
- That's nice to hear! I am proud of you. You are doing very well.
