Storyboard Text

  • How do you manage all these responsibilities?
  • I feel very overwhelmed sometimes, especially with my sons. They are a huge burden on me.
  • I overheard Mom talking to one of her customers of how hard her life is because of us
  • We should run away!!!
  • Once upon a time in a village called Lewisville there a lived a woman, Mary, and her two sons, Jeffrey and Marcus. Mary was widow who was raising her 12 and 13-year-old sons by herself.
  • Our mother is a widow and thinks of us as too big a burden to bear. That is why we decided to run away.
  • Do both of you need a place to stay? Come on in and do tell me why two fine young men like you are wandering the forest alone
  • Mary was a very poor seamstress who made dresses for the richer.  Her sons would help her around the house and gather materials for her. One day Jeffrey overheard his mother speaking to one of her clients.
  • I have not seen your sons after they ran away, but I'll keep an eye out.
  • Mary, you should go speak to Gaea, she lives on that palace up above that hill. She might be able to help you find Jeffrey and Marcus.
  • Jeffrey told Marcus to meet him in the woods one day when their mother was busy with her work. This is where they decided to immediately run away before anybody else realized.
  • Marcus and Jeffrey trekked deep into the woods until they saw a quaint home. They were received by a kind old woman who took them in. Marcus and Jeffrey stayed here for the rest of their lives only hoping that their mother could live peacefully now that they were gone.
  • Mary realized that her sons were missing and asked many people in her town about their whereabouts. None of them knew where Marcus and Jeffrey were, but one man told Mary to go talk to the goddess of nature, Gaea, to help find her sons.
  • Have any of you seen my sons? They ran away just yesterday.
  • Mary finally arrived at Gaea's palace after a full day's journey.
  • Finally, I have reached the palace. I hope that Gaea will be able to find Jeffrey and Marcus.
