  • Welcome to the Marshall Court to Dartmouth vs Woodward. Present your case Dartmouth.

  • This legislature is in clear violation of article 1, section 10 of the constitution. Which prohibits a state from impairing a contract.
  • However, the United States is no longer a part of the royal colony.

  • Oh, and btw, this court course played a significant role in history because it increased the growth in business. Since corporations were chartered by states, states could no longer impair these corporations; thus making them more secure.
