Storyboard Text

  • Verona, a fair city
  • Romeo and Juliet fall in love
  • "Oh Romeo, Romeo.. wherefore art thou Romeo??"
  • "Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; Henceforth I never will be Romeo"
  • Friar Lawrence marries the couple
  • "So smile the heavens upon this holy act, that after-hours with sorrow chide us out"
  • In Verona, two families are enemies: The Montague and The Capulet. 
  • Mercutio and Tybalt die 
  • "This day's black fate on more days doth depend; This but begins the woe, others must end"
  • But at a ball, Romeo, a Montague, and Juliet, a Capulet, meet and fall in love.
  • Juliet fakes her death
  • Despite the war between the two families, Romeo and Juliet decide to get married and they go ask for their confessor, Friar Lawrence's help.
  • The end of the tragedy
  • "O happy dagger! This is thy sheath, there rust and let me die!"
  • After the wedding, Juliet's cousin Tybalt kills in a duel Romeo's best friend, Mercutio. Romeo, out of anger, kills Tybalt and he is exiled to Mantoa.
  • When Juliet's parents decide to get her married with Paris, she fakes her death with the help of Friar Lawrence, using a potion. Romeo, unaware, comes back to find her dead and he drinks poison to kill himself.
  • "Lips, O you the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss. A dateless bargain to engrossing death."
  • Juliet wakes up from her sleep to find Romeo dead by her side. Wanting to be with her love even in death, she stabs herself, using his dagger. After the tragedy of the two young lovers, peace was brought  between their families.
