The Bill of RightsAmendments 1-5
The First Amendment guarantees the right to freedom of speech, assembly, religion, expression, and petition.
WE WANT CHANGE!
The Second Amendment guarantees the right to own and use firearms and allows the US to have a militia.
The Third Amendment prohibits soldiers from forcibly living in a citizen's home (even during war).
I don't want you to stay at my house.
Okay.
The Fourth Amendment protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure without a warrant, helping those suspected of a crime.
Then you can't search my house.
Do you have a warrant?
I'm here to search inside your house.
No.
The Fifth Amendment prohibits trying someone for the same crime twice or forcing someone to testify against themselves.
Where were you on November 23, 2013?
I plead the fifth! I will not incriminate myself.
