Bob Marley was born on the 6th of Febuary 1969, to mother Cedella Marley when she was 18
I will name him Bob Marley
Bob's father passed away when he was young leaving him and his ,mother with little money and no source of income
I'm sorry but he has passed away.
Bob Grew up in the town of Nine Miles which was mainly African American and he grew up listening to folk songs and this was the source of some of his song writing inspiration. Bob got a job as a young teenager to help with his family money problems
When bob was 13 he left St.Ann and moved to Jamaica's capital city of Kingston in the suburb of Trenchtown. Bob first gained his love for music as Trenchtown despite being a slum was a very culturally rich place.
In February 1962, Marley recorded four songs, "Judge Not", "One Cup of Coffee", "Do You Still Love Me?" and "Terror", at Federal Studios for local music producer Leslie Kong. He was quickly becoming a local sensation and his music was loved.
Bob Marley signed to Island Records in 1973 and was an instant success and recorded three more albums with them an all we top 10 hits. An he went on his first tours to the UK and to places in the Americas.
