Storyboard Text

  • The First Punic War
  • Can we maybe... Talk it over?
  • No, Sicily is ours! Warrr!!
  • Sicily is Romes Land!
  • The First Punic War
  • CHARGE!!!
  • The Second Punic War
  • Wake me up when you do.
  • NOO! Tiny!
  • I don´t exactly know.
  • What are we going to do!
  • Charge!
  • A Long Time Ago, Rome and Carthage fought over Sicily and resulted into the first Punic War.
  • The Second Punic War
  • Wait where is my shield?
  • And so, Rome and Carthage fought the first Punic War. These wars were naval battles and Rome weren´t used to fighting at sea, so they beefed up their ships and soon they had hundreds. And just like that, Rome won the first war. But Carthage wasn´t done yet.
  • The Third Punic War
  • Now, they both wanted Spain. A general named Hannibal took over for Carthage. But he made one minor mistake. He took giant elephants into cold harsh weather and they all ended up dying!
  • The Third Punic War and Conclusion
  • Over Here!
  • 3-0!
  • Yay!!
  • And in the end the Romans won again and gained part of Spain. The Romans also made the Carthaginians pay huge fines. but yet again Carthage was still fighting.
  • In the third Punic War it was total domination from here. Rome burned down their city-state, enslaved and killed their citizens, and poured salt on the ground so nothing could grow.
  • Very True.
  • What a beautiful sight.
  • In the end, the Romans won all three of the Punic Wars. They also took control of Carthage! But you still have to give Carthage a standing ovation for fighting even if they lost. They never gave up until they end.
  • Woo-hoo!
