In the 1930s, there was a gargantuan economic crisis that tore America and many other counties into pieces. It left thousands of people from all cross the world homeless, penniless, and without a job. There are multiple causes to this that left the whole entire economic system falling apart. And all of those causes led up to the Great Depression.
One of the main causes of the great depression was "Banks and money" also known as the Bank Run. As the great depression was starting to come into effect, people fell into debt and many people lost their jobs. Soon everyone was rushing to banks to collect their life-savings and money, but soon the bank ran out of money and people lost everything.
In the 1920s, farmers started spending money buying new machinery and they were growing more crops than ever. But soon, the prices of the produce and crops dropped, and farmers didn't make any profit. After, a drought hit the Midwest and there was no rainfall. All crops dies and many farmers went into debt or lost lots of money.
