Heraclitus: Everything in the unverse is constantly changing, and our senses are the only thing we can trust
Empedocles: Now, now, I think you two may both be onto something here. It is probable that there are four rather than just one basic element of the universe, and some things change while other things never change.
Anaxagoras: If I may add, I believe that rather than just one or four basic elements, there is an infinite amount, and they can make up all matter.
