  • Women and children were forced to work in factories, to supply the Red Army with war equipment.
  • Joseph Stalin ordered an attack on the Germans, and sent out orders to not retreat at all cost.
  • With orders not to retreat, they fought a long, and hard battle.
  • With the Sixth Army not giving up, and the Germans running out of supplies. The Germans were forced to Surrender.
  • This meant a Soviet Union victory, and Stalingrad was a turning point for WWII.
