- good morning class, are you all doing well? we will be discussing the cell theory today.
- do you have any idea about the cell and who has contributed in observing it? if you read our module you'll know it.
- In our class, who knows the other person that has a contribution about the cell? anyone?
- Mr. Robert Hooke was the person who discovered the cell, if you are wondering how he discovered it, he was looking at a cork under a microscope saw a multiple chamber that looked like a cell. That's how the cell discovered.
- in addition Dra. Theodor Schwann a friend of Schleiden decided to look at animal tissues and in that way he discovered that all animals are also made of cells
- Matthias Schleiden also discovered that all plants are made out of cell. He discovered it while looking to different plants, then he saw that there is something common
- Dra. Robert Brown discovered the nucleus, it is the center part of the cell
