  • The Proclamation Act allowed England to take the land from the Mississippi to the Apache Mts. This frustrated colonist when the news was told. It also made the Loyalist love the new proclomation.
  • The Townshend Act.
  • Great More Taxes!? Jolley Rotten!
  • Haha, Hidden Fees!
  • The Stamp Act made anything made of paper had to have a stamp from Britain, and every paper that had a stamp had to be taxed. In order to repeal the stamp act Colonist had just stopped paying for the paper.
  • The Boston Massacre
  • The Intolerable Acts were a response to the Boston Tea Party. The Acts closed the port of Boston, it reduced their self-government, and it made them quarter troops and feed them whether they liked it or not.
  • The Tea Act & Boston Tea Party

  • The Intolerable Acts stated, that it was mandatory to be able to quarter a British soldier. The Acts also added external tax; external tax is a tax in whatever you buy that you don't see.
  • American Colonist had gotten into a fight with a random British troop that was hanging outside of a British custom house. Colonist had started to harass a British soldier so 50 more colonists joined the dilemma and started throwing random things. One colonist threw something that injured a troop so they shot at the crowd of the colonist. 
  • The British and Colonies had a very special devotion to tea. So, in order for colonies to have tea, it was only specifically sup post to come from Britain, not third-party countries. The Boston Tea Party took place as a protest, colonist dressed up as Indians even though they were white so Britain knew right away who it was. Colonist threw 324 crates which at the time was worth 90,000 pounds and is now worth up too 1 million dollars.
