Reasons Why America And Britain Started 'Fighting'

Colonists wanted independence from England as there were 3000 miles of distance between them and they were setting high tax to gain back the money they spent in the 100 year war against France so the colonists were paying money that wasn't being used for their own good so they said 'No taxation without representation!'

The Boston Massacre wasn't really a massacre it was a lot of colonists antagonising soldiers by calling names and throwing rocks even though they were just sentry's. thence of them fired out of fear and then many others did the end 5 people were killed basically accidentally but somebody drew it as an ordered fire against colonists and the suns of liberty, a colonist group anarchists, used it as propoganda
peopleThe Boston Tea Party was an event put together by the suns of liberty who dressed as Mohawk Indians and threw boxes of tea of about in a response to the 3p tea tax set by Britain it had many consequences .one loyalist man was caught trying to pass information of it to Britain, he was tarred and feathered and very few people opposed them form then on
The tea party resulted in the Boston Harbor closing and Britain getting even more angry with America and tensions started rising, Britain sent many reinforcements to America and introduced quartering to annoy and check on the Americans, it meant a soldier at any time could go to your house and you would have to treat them like an honored guest until they decided to leave.
It was a small scale fight and the first one to break out, neither side expected it to turn into an all out war but a panic shot was fired and labeled as the shot heard around the world and the British captain major john pit cairn destroyed the Americans led by captain john Parker.
After their defeat at Lexington they gathered on a bridge and regrouped an gained more soldiers from neighbouring towns they were called the minute men and helped the Americans to win and they picked off the British as they ran away from the overwhelming force, they originally went to find the American weapon stash but ended with 73 deaths and 174 injury's while the Americans ended with 49 deaths and 41 injury's
