  • Mrs. Shears dog! What happened Wellington? Who did this to you?
  • No Christopher, go home.
  • Have you seen or heard anything suspicious? That might lead me to the death of a dog?
  • I promise father. I won't.
  • Chris, promise me you won't investigate anymore.
  • Christopher finds his neighbor, Mrs. Shears, dog dead in her backyard.
  • "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime"? By Christopher Boone? What is this?
  • Christopher decides to investigate and find out who killed Wellington. He also writes about it in his journal for school.
  • *Reads letters from mother that he's never received*
  • Christopher's dad doesn't want him bothering strangers in the neighborhood to investigate a dog's death.
  • *screams in terror and proceeds to push father off the bed*
  • The father discovers that Christopher is still investigating the killing of Wellington, and that he's been writing about it for school.
