  • Moea and Rakia were brother and sister, they were always fighting. They argued about everthing. One day they were arguing about who was the better fisherman. They decided to settle it with a fishing competition
  • I am a better fisherman!
  • No your not! I catch far more fish than you!
  • Moea and Rakia went out onto the lake and began catching fish. When they had finished the rowed back into land to count there catch.
  • They began counting their catch. Rakia finished first, she knew she had far more than Moea. When she asked how many he had he said that he had more than her. She instantly flew into a rage
  • No, you don't! I know you have cheated
  • I have more than you!
  • They argued so loud that they woke up Tua the God of wind and rain. Tua was so angry that he sent a Tsunami down to Moea and Rakia.
  • Tua soon realised that what he had done was dangerous and could potentially kill Moea and Rakia and so he turned them into turtle so they could survive
  • When the tide went back to normal, Moea and Rakia realised they were exhausted. They retreated into their shells and fell into a deep sleep. As the salty water washed over them and froze their bodies solid. Their bodies remained on the beach for all eternity.
  • When the tide finally washed away Moea and Rakia were exhausted as they had spent the whole night in the icy ocean. The curled up into their shells and fell into a deep sleep. The salty water washed over them
