The Magna Carta is a document that gave rights to the English people. the magna Carta was the first creation of England's constitution.
Took firm control over his lands; made the Domesday Book and kept large amount of land to himself. William and English monarchs build a system of tax collecting so improved.
Edward the first
Expanded the system of royal justice; laid the basic for common laws; began jury system
He agreed to not raise taxes without first consulting his great council and he never agreed to make this equality called the Magna Carta.
Summoned Parliament to approve money for his wars in France. He had representatives of the "common people"
William started in 1086 and became the domesday book by recording important records of England after the Norman Conquest.
