Storyboard Text

  • Throughout the Age of Enlightenment, there were new ideas being expressed and thought about differently like...
  • Get back to work!
  • (About the penguin, I couldn't find someone that looked like me so I'm represented by the penguin.)
  • New ideas of the universe and exploration of it. This was the main starting point of the Age of Enlightenment.
  • The Signing of the Declaration of Independence. This led to America becoming an independent country than Britain and also led to the American Revolution in 1765
  • The signing of the Declaration of the Rights of Man. This was written so every man in France, whether it was a peasant or a noble, would have equal rights. It also started the French Revolution.
  • I was here too!
  • The new idea of the gravity and gravity difference by Isaac Newton. This supported the idea of the Age of Enlightenment and was one of the biggest ideas during that time.
  • And a new idea of how the sun was the new center of the universe. Like before, it was a major influence on how we see the universe and this also started the idea of Atheism and this discovery was the discovery that influenced us all.
