  • Status Quo
  • Good. Now nobody is going to kill me and I won't get punished by the gods.
  • Call to Action
  • Perseus I need you, to go the land of the Gorgons, slay Medusa and bring me her head as a wedding gift
  • Ok, Polydectes, if that's what you really want
  • I like his mom, but I don't like him, so I need a way to get rid of him
  • Refusal of the Call
  • But does he have to have the head of a Gorgon?
  • I definitely don't want to upset the King
  • King Acrisius had gotten a prophecy that his daughter, Danae would have a son who would later kill him, to try and escape this prophecy, he put Danae in a box in the ground, but she later had a child with Zeus. To get the son as far away as possible, he put them in a box and set them to sea. They were later found and helped out by a fisherman in a new place
  • Departure
  • Good Bye Perseus! Make sure to come back!
  • I'll be back with 1 Gorgon head
  • The Prince of the place that Perseus and his mom, Danae landed took an interest in Danae as she was the most beautiful women in the land. The king Polydectes wanted to marry Perseus but didn't want Perseus around so he devised a plan to get rid of him
  • Mentor
  • Hello Perseus, my name is Athena; and mine is Hermes, and we're gonna help you kill that Gorgon
  • Now here's what you have to do first...
  • Perseus was hesitant to start out on this journey, as it was known that any man that looked at the Gorgons never drew another breathe as they were turned to stone.
  • Trials
  • Perseus left on his quest without telling his mother for the fear of his mother trying to stop him.
  • Or don't
  • Somewhere along the way, the Greek gods, Hermes and Athena stopped by a decided to help Perseus on his quest. From Hermes, Perseus gave him a sword that could penetrate through the thick scales of the Gorgons and Athena gave him a bronze sheild
  • Hermes plan was to have Perseus go up to the Grey Women and steal their eye when they were passing it around and demand to know where the nymphs of the North were in exchange for their eye. When he got directions to the nymphs, he got the details of where the Gorgons lived.
  • Now, tell me where I can find the nymphs of the North and you'll get your eye back!
