Ulysses stumbled on land in search of food for his men and came upon a stag and killed it for his men to eat.
Ulysses discovered a castle on the island. He asked Eurylochus, "Would you rather stay here with your men and guard the ship while I visit the castle -- or would you rather I keep the beach?" "Choose" Eurylochus chose to take his men to explore the castle.
"Set out men!"
Eurylochus's 22 men heard singing in the castle. They approached the sounds and found a woman. Her name is Circe She offered them food (porridge). They ate it all like pigs. Circe then began saying words which had turned Eurylochus's and his men into pigs. Eurylochus found out and ran away to warn Ulysses.
"Too rude, I think for humankind, quite right, I think, for swine!"
"Glut and swink, eat and drink, gobble food and guzzle wine."

Ulysses decided to go and try to save his men. On the way, he stumbled on Hermes. Hermes new the situation Ulysses is in and gave him a flower called moly. As long as he carries it, Circe's drugs won't work. Ulysses then continued on his way to Circe.
Ulysses finally approached Circe's room in her castle. Circe offered the drugged porridge and Ulysses ate some. It had no effect on him. Circe found out that he knows about his men being pigs. Ulysses ended up threatening Circe with a sword to turn his men back into humans and she did so.
"Yes sir!" Shouted his 22 men.
Ulysses and his men ended up staying at Circe's castle for a while. Ulysses ended up marrying Circe. Then one night Circe gave Ulysses two options, one is to stay with Circes the rest of his life, or to leave the island and continue his voyage. Ulysses chose to leave and he did. He resumed the voyage that very night.
