Storyboard Text

  • Hi! I'm Matthew and i'm here to tell you about what a hero is and how Ella in Camo Girl acted like a hero.
  • A Hero is someone who either gives their life or puts their life on the line trying to protect people.
  • An example of a Real-life hero is Abraham Lincoln. He made the emancipation proclamation which ended slavery in the south and freed many of the slaves.
  • Help Us!
  • A Superhero is a made up person with superpowers of flight, telekinesis, or super strength. Like real life heroes, they help people too.
  • An example of one of the characters being a hero in Camo girl, page 2-3, is when Jonathon Hoffman, the school bully, throws a plate of spaghetti at Z, but Ella jumps between the plate and Z, then get's hit with the plate instead of him.
  • An example of Bailey being a hero in Camo girl, page 171 - 173 was when Z ran away, then Bailey and Ella left to try and find him. In order to do this they had to take a train, and for them to do that, Bailey had to use his "charm" and lies to get tickets. They put their life on the line just like a hero because they could've been kidnapped and killed.
  • No.
  • Aren't you to young to buy tickets yourselves?
  • Uh oh!
  • Another example of bailey being a hero was when he told the officer that Z was with them and they were separated from their school group and their bus should be coming back any minute.
  • We got separated from him because he wandered off.
  • Okay!
  • Okay, I believe you, but be careful okay?
