Lennie and George are in the woods talking about their dream and Lennie wants the rabbits to tend. Lennie isn't the smartest person yet he has a perseverance to make his dream be perfect.
Ch.6 Page 100

Slim was telling George about how great Lennie was at buckin' barley. Slim was impressed by Lennie being able to dominate his job in front of the other workers. Lennie doesn't have the best ability in verbal actions yet he is an amazing hands-on physical worker due to his sheer size.
Lennie is in the stable and he killed the puppy from petting him to hard. He started to get angry and yet he was able to control himself because he knew if George found out what happened he knew he'd get in trouble. Lennie seems to become angry when he kills animals because he knows it makes George angry.
Lennie escaped from the farm after he killed Curley's wife and made it to the river where George said to go if he was in trouble. Lennie was able to remember George told him to gowhich was shocking. This shows that Lennie was finally learning to remember what George told him after not being able to remember things throughout the story.
