Della goes to a hair shop sells her hair and goes on a shopping spree fro the perfikt gift she rinds a chain worthy of Jim's poketwouch and gos home fixes whats left and wates for Jim

Jim gets home and Della is excited to show him her gift and she explanes the only way to afford it was to sell her hair and gives Jim the chain and he hands Della a set of comes that she had loved and he plops onto the couch
della is excited to see how the chain looks on Jims woch and Jim gust sys and looks at della and tells her that thay shud hold onto the gifts and put them aside also to start makeing dinner
and lastly we are explaned that thay were not smart but had given up ther most valuble poshion for echuther and nothing was worth more then ther love for echuther
