Felix and the Internet By: Alex Curry, Sam Cagle, and Elijah Sneigoski
The first thing you need to know about is virus protection. Felix, you need to keep viruses off your computer because they can make your computer run slower and some can destroy your computer as well. Viruses can be given to your computer through websites, and things that you download or run on your computer. A way to protect your computer is by purchasing an anti-virus software which will protect your computer from viruses. Viruses can also take your passwords and financial information. You need to keep your passwords safe.
And that, Felix, brings us into password safety. You should change your password every 2 to 3 months so no one can keep logging in if they have your password. Your passwords should have at least 7 letters and 2 numbers and a capital letter or things such as underscores commas and other punctuation. But the most important thing to keep your password safe is to not tell anyone even your friends, because you don't know if they will tell someone else then they can take you personal info.
A topic that is very important to learn about Felix is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is when you bully someone over the internet or a digital service such as instagram, facebook, and twitter. Cyberbullying is a very serious topic that affects almost everyone. Cyberbullying can be very hurtful and is a cowardly way to bully someone. If you are being cyberbullied, tell your parents or someone you can trust. Never keep your problems to yourself.
