  • In 1861 gold was found in the Cariboo region and sometimes the miners didn't even have to mine and gold was just on the ground!
  • "I CAN'T BELIEVE THE GOLD RUSH ENDED! IT TOOK 4 YEARS AND $750,000 TO BUILD! I WAS SUPPOSED TO EARN MONEY NOT LOSE MONEY!"
  • It brought thousands of men and women to the Cariboo Region to mine.

  • The Cariboo road was built so that people would have to pay taxes for crossing the road.
  • The road cost $750,000 and took 4 years to build but when the road finished the gold rush had already ended so the government was probably pretty mad.
  • THE END!
