  • The first Continental Congress, 1774
  • We are all equal here and have free say in this
  • Down with the Coercive Acts!
  • Our Articles of Association will stop the importation of goods from the British Isles.
  • With these in place we  will disband, for now
  • We will  also issue a Declaration of Rights, that confirms our loyalty to the British Crown but disputes the British Parliament’s right to tax us.
  • The second Continental Congress, 1775
  • We must remain peaceful with Britain for as  long as we can.
  • It is time for WAR!
  • I agree, we must take our freedom if they will not give it to  us.
  • He has the most military knowledge and the people will respect him.
  • Agreed.
  • George Washington should command our Continental army
  • We will create the Olive Branch petition to hopefully bring peace after this.
  • The march on Boston will begin  soon.
