Storyboard Text

  • Home of the Students
  • "This is a great sin to have a head so quick," (Rand, 21).
  • "We made it. We created it. We brought it forth from night of the ages. We alone. Our hands. Our mind. Ours alone and only," (Rand, 59).
  • "We are doomed. Whatever days are left to us, we shall spend them alone. And we heard of the corruption to be found in solitude," (Rand, 76).
  • Equality is not like all of the other kids. Equality is smarter and taller than all of the other kids.He wanted to do things he wanted and not to be told what to do. He had a sense of individuality in a society which strips from the citizen.
  • Equality choose to go against his society wishes. He creates his light box as a repentance to show the home of the scholars. This would be an action he can not go back on and will regret.
  • Equality personality changes to he is worth nothing. After the home of the scholars rejected him. He feels rejected from society and no longer feels like he can do anything. This is a drastic change in mood and tone because this man lost all hope in himself making him a complex character.
