Archetypes are very important in the telling of horror stories, in my comic I used similar archetypes like we talked about in class. I used the archetype of the nervous unsure friend being led to his inevitable fate by his curious/reckless friend. I used the archetype of a creepy cavern setting because I believe it is the least seen in recent horror films and that it would be something different and refreshing to the reader. Finally, for my final archetype I went with a common final scene, the typical "They were never seen again" I used this because it ties everything together and leaves room for a possible continuation. In conclusion, archetypes are very fun/interesting to use and lead to a very thrilling story we often see in horror films.
Hey, we should go check out that cave where its said my brother's friend went missing
Nahh I'm not really about that
Oh cmon it'll be fun, look I even found a rough map of the place while I was at the library.
