Storyboard Text

  • The short film begins with a young man, Thomas, running into an abandoned classroom after being chased by something. The room is dark and he cannot see, so he uses a flashlight - revealing all the satanic pages and warnings on the walls. He now knows what is going on: a zombie apocalypse has invaded the school.
  • As Thomas discovers a piece of paper, it is revealed as a map to the fire exits, but it's missing a smaller piece to one of the exits. He rummages through his backpack for other supplies, and is spooked by a Victim. He gives the smaller piece to Thomas, before turning into a zombie. Thomas manages to shoot him, and heads on to find one of the fire exits.
  • Thomas then encounters a small horde of flesh-eating zombies ahead before attacking them and killing every single of them with his weapons. He sees the fire exit straight in front of him, but a zombie jumps out of nowhere and tries to bite him. Thomas kills it just in time, but to his horror, the fire exit seemingly disappears.
  • A bigger horde of zombies then force Thomas out of the hallway and chase him onto the staircases. Thomas manages to take out most of the horde, but he ends up being surrounded a couple of times. He then retreats back to the ground floor, where all of the zombies find Thomas. As the zombie converge towards his trapped position, Thomas takes down the locked door, and heads in another classroom.
  • Thomas, breathing heavily from being chased, runs in the classroom and uses all his strength to lock the door. The zombies are not in the room, however, they still bang and push to get in and eat Thomas. A tired Thomas, out of frustration from fighting, sleeps for a while as he listens to music. He has a dream, where no one is around to help him.
  • He then snaps back to reality, and the door is now broken, allowing all the zombies to corner him. Even though he is tired and beaten, he finally gives in by reloading his pistol with one bullet. As he dies, he dreams about being the sunset again and he cries about not being alive. The film ends with Thomas' phone on the floor and he gets a phone call.
