  • The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done
  • But My Captain is Dead!
  • The War is Won!
  • From fearful trip, the victor ship, comes in with object won
  • John Wilkes Booth escapes after assassinating the president
  • I Killed Lincoln! Yay Me!
  • When news of the assassination reached the south, the remaining members of the confederacy celebrated
