  • Lasting Shelters
  • Hello again! In the Paleolithic Age, people had to live in temporary shelters. Like, tents or caves. But, this was not easy, the temporary shelters were to enough for them to survive.
  • But, in the Neolithic Age, we had permanent shelters. They were much better because the houses gave protection from harsh weather and other things too.
  • Well hello there! As you probably know already, I'm Nick! One major change about our temporary shelters is that when we stayed in our temporary shelters and we built things for us to survive in them, that will all go to waste. Why? Because we move from place to place hunting for food.
  • Now that you have learned about our temporary shelters, Nel and I would like to tell why this topic is so important.
  • That's correct Nick.  We do really want to share with you why this topic is so important. Well, this topic is important because the houses gave protection from harsh weather, people could cook food in many more ways than they could with no house at all.
