Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro! This city existed about 5,000 years ago. Our civilization was located along the Indus River.
In Mohenjo-Daro people used mud bricks, that were dried in the sun, to make their homes. During the hot summer months Indus people often slep on their roof to cool down. Indus people oftenused their homes as workshops.
Indus peoples' showers were pouring a jar of water over your head. However they did have a draining system that flowed dirty water out of the house and into a drin in the street.
Indus people bathed to be pure, as part of their religion.
Indus people used seals on items to show that a tax had been paid on an item or who owned something.
