The 30 Year War was started by a religious civil war. It was between the Roman Catholics and the Protestants in Germany.
Protestants soon got angry at the royalist and threw them out of windows. Which would officially led to the war.
Oliver Cromwell tried to reduce the religious activities of his people. This caused people to rebel among Protestants.
This soon led to a war between the Royalist and Protestants. The Royalist lost because there were so many lower class people (lower class people were most likely Protestant)
They signed a treaty called The Treaty of Westphalia. This was signed on October 24th 1648. This led to the end of the 30 year war.
Jing Charles took over the kingdom after the old king was decapitated for his wrongdoings. Later the people dug up the old king an dragged him on the streets as a sign of disrespect.
