Billy loved to play lacrosse but he knew he never would be good at it. That never stopped him. He went outside and picked up his stick. Billy did not catch it when he threw it but he tried again. and.... he caught it. This made him motivated to practice every day for the lax team.
Billy practiced every day so he could be ready for the lax team. He did not care if it was raining or snowing. He did not care if it 300 degrees he was determined to get better and better. When the time came for the first practice, he was ready.
When the first practice came along Billy played great. He proved to the coach that he is a good player. When the first game came Billy was a starter he scored a goal at every game. His teammates looked up to him and they asked how he got so good. He replied. "I practiced every day and I never gave up"
