  • Welcome to Monhejo Daro! My name is Jai and her name is Maya! We will be your tour guides today !
  • Monhejo Daro is located in present day Pakistan. We live near the Indus River and we came hear around 2500 BCE.
  • This is what a typical home here in Mohenjo - Daro looked like.
  • •The houses here are made of Brick. Brick in Mohnejo - Daro was made of baked clay. This type of brick was used for almost everything.
  • The bathrooms here were places simillar to a well made of brick. to take a bath you would sit here and a jar would pour water on you.
  • Now we are standing in a place that would be used as the bathroom.
  • Right now we are standing in what is called " The Great Bath".
  • The Great Bath was used for special religious functions. The water here was use when people wanted to be purified.
  • The seals were used mostly for trade between people. The seals would be made on ceramic or on clay then they were put on the goods.
  • This is the main part of our town. In here is where the use of seals would be more common.
  • This is our connection or our trade routes with the world. With this we can trade with other parts of the world.
  • Right now we are in the dessert!
