  • Heck Yeah I can!
  • Hey Mr.VIckers can you explain why the Flash is so awesome and why he's better than batman?
  • Well first of all Friction is the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another
  • Well first of all Friction is the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another
  • As the flash runs to the right, friction is occurring the opposite direction. Without friction between his boots and the ground, The Flash would never be able to run anywhere!
  • When dealing with water here's how that works
  • The density of water is much greater than that of air which means it's even more to difficult to travel at high speeds, but for The Flash he is able to run faster than the response time of the water. This creates a shock front that acts like a solid. Pretty sweet right?
  • Now let me explain how sound works...
  • Ferris wheel
  • Now because the flash wants to be first in line, the doppler effect comes in play. He hears a smaller wavelength and hence a higher frequency due to the fact that he is running toward the source of the sound. The faster he runs, the greater this shift in the wavelength and frequency of the detected sound.
  • HEY!
  • What about those awesome sonic booms?
  • Right as The Flash jets off, he creates a series of pressure waves that travel at the speed of sound and as he gradually gets faster the waves force together and ultimately combine into to one!
  • Ahh yes. A sonic boom is the sound associated with the shock waves created by an object traveling through the air faster than the speed of sound. Sonic booms generate enormous amounts of sound energy, sounding much like an explosion.
  • Yeah! You know what? You deserve a free 100 for being so cool.
  • That's so awesome! That's why The Flash is definitely one of the best.
