  • What do y'all know about the Digestive System?
  • There are thirteen organs in the digestive system.
  •  Now name all  the organs
  • These are the thirteen organs: Mouth,Esophagus,Peristalsis,Liver, Gallbladder,Pancreas,Small intestine,Large intestine,Rectum,and anus.
  • Every student come up and pick one organ and tell me the function 
  • The mouth does chemical and mechanical break down. 
  • esophagus: Carry food to stomach 
  • peristalsis: moves food through the process of digestive
  • Liver: breaks down fat and filters blood
  • Gallbladder:stores bile produced by the liver.
  • Pancreas: produces digestive juice to help break down
  • small intestine:most chemical digestion takes place
  • large intestine: H20 is being absorded into the bloodstem 
  • Rectum: stores solid waste
  • Anus: Opens for waste to exit
